 The
Snooper SD 815 may be the smallest radar detector in the world,
but don't let this cloud your opinion regarding its performance,
this tiny unit still manages to protect against the risk of road
traffic accidents on accident hotspots whilst minimising the risk
of speeding tickets. Using digital technology it offers 5 Band detection
plus all the options you would expect on normal size units plus
super long range.
It's hard to imagine how all the great features of this unit were
packed into such a tiny piece of technology, the unit boasts 5 Band
radar detection including the new Ku band – this unit detects
ALL radar traps (and even tells you via LED’s how far away
the traps it has detected are).
The Snooper SD 815 comes with a two-year manufacturers warranty
and represents outstanding value for money.
The instructions were clear and precise so it only took about
ten minutes before we had installed the Snooper SD 815, all the
equipment needed was in the pack including a set of suction cups
for the dashboard.
The Snooper SD 815 triggered false alarms on several occasions
where no Gatso Cameras were sited, mainly being set off by traffic
light radar signals. There is only actually one live camera on this
route; in all fairness it did alert us to the presence of this particular
camera with 50 metres notice.
